I’ve been in the business of designing and developing websites for a few years now, and the changes I’ve seen during these time, when it comes to using CMS (content management systems ) is amazing. I am always looking for the best options for my clients, and I just found it in a great component sold by corephp.com. With this component and addons, virtually, this kind of websites are now accessible to almost anyone. Web and blog design has gone from complicated, to accessible, using friendly Content Management systems, that are easy to understand and install, offering the option to willing clients to manage their own content. But are they really for everybody ?
Recently, a client of mine asked me to design a website with real blog capabilities of the best kind. This website will be used as a tool to promote a "In Company With Angels ," a traveling exhibition for 7 beautiful Tiffany windows representing the 7 angels of the book of Revelation. (The new site will be soon released). The expectation of my client is to be able to use a blog along with the website, to promote the exhibitions as the windows travel around the country. My client wants to be able to keep contact with the public, awaken their interest, and answer their questions.
The question for me was: "is it possible to make something like this happen using only one website?"
The answer is Yes, it is possible. This post is about showing you how.
For the benefit of all readers, I will describe my own personal process as I develop a website just like it website, using the same systems I am using for my client. So I am coming back with more soon.
